The mouse explores strange worlds! Parents and children have the opportunity to explore strange and exciting worlds through the exhibition “Arne Quinze. Hidden Beauty” to explore strange and exciting worlds that we all know.
Arne Quinze is inspired by nature and has created a colourful wildflower garden around his studio, which for him is a muse, retreat and paradise all in one. In his art, he is interested in the lost ecosystem that is increasingly threatened by growing cities. This is why, for him, who started out as a street artist, questions about urbanity and nature are also the starting point for his observations.
Together with the KunstKontakt team, children explore the art of Arne Quinze. Inspired by wild flowers and wild figures that are reminiscent of large plants from the future, they set off. Using monotype and mirror paper, we create our own little art worlds in search of mice and elephants and build a paper garden together.
Parents can visit the exhibition “Arne Quinze. Hidden Beauty” and the museum’s collection.

Arne Quinze’s unstable and stable building constructions, reminiscent of proliferating, colourful organisms, inspire us to create a place of secret beauty out of paper. We cut, glue and mirror a garden – colourful, bright, white. A place of secret beauty grows out of paper.
