Panel discussion with the artists
Prof. Dr. Beate Reifenscheid in dialogue with Rainer Gross, Manfred Boecker and Wolfgang Niedecken.
The current exhibition “Once upon a time” focuses on the collaborative works of the three artist friends Manfred Boecker, Rainer Gross and Wolfgang Niedecken, which were created in the early years of their collaboration and which can always be understood as a reaction to the art market. Niedecken and Boecker develop, among other things, their ideal images, jointly question “What is art?”, each paint a picture every day at the same time or create several monthly cycles, the so-called “daily images”. In dialogue with Prof. Dr. Beate Reifenscheid, the years that have passed since then are reviewed and previous views and positions discussed anew.
