14:00 – 15:00 Welcome and guided tour by Prof. Dr Beate Reifenscheid, Director of the Ludwig Museum.
14:00 – 15:00 SlowArt. Yoga and art have something in common, both transform the space into a place of reflection and inspiration. Participants explore their perception of art viewing.
Under the guidance of yoga teacher Claudia Schüchen, stage dancer, dance pedagogue and teacher of body symbolism and dance theatre, you can have your own personal yoga experience for 60 minutes. The programme consists of Anusara yoga practices. The Anusara yoga style not only refines physical alignment, but also the inner energetic posture.
Suitable for all levels.
Participants: 15 max/with pre-booking
Please bring: comfortable clothing and your own yoga mat. Changing facilities are not available. (2ND FLOOR)
14:30 – 16:00 A workshop for children. With tempera and paint rollers, children will follow Sean Scully’s colour trails in front of the Ludwig Museum. On large sheets of paper, children will playfully translate the Irish painter’s colour blocks to create their own walls of colour. The workshop will be led by Ute Haupt, KunstKontakt team.
15:00 – 18:00 Coffee & cake
15:30 – 16:00 Speed dating with art! (short guided tour)
16:00-18:00 Art action “Layers // Colours// Stripes” with the museum educator Hans Artmann. Inspired by the action art of the 1960s, the result is unpredictable. Together in front of the new sculpture in the museum’s garden, visitors get into action and create a collaborative work under guidance. Children and adults alike can take part in a 30-minute hands-on workshop. (Sculpture garden)
16:00 – 17:00 Guided tour through the exhibition “Sean Scully. Géographies” on the subject of “Colour and Structure in Sean Scully”.
The museum is open from 11am to 6pm. Free admission and guided tours.
