Jump in Art – “Lost Objects”, Thursday, May 28, 2026 (6:00 PM to 7:30 PM)

Jump in Art – Get out of the office and into the art experience!

An evening event in conjunction with the two exhibitions “Marianne Aue. Unknown ZERO” and “The World Through Lenses, in Pixels and Digital Fluidity,” extended until May 31, 2026. Titled “Lost Objects,” the evening references Michael Bielický’s virtual installation of the same name, in which pictograms, tweets, and stock market news are condensed into visual narratives. Through continuous transformation, fragmentary, playful, and simultaneously critical visual worlds emerge—less classical representations than fluid, dynamic landscapes of information. This aesthetic of the fragmentary is also reflected in the distorted oil paintings of Kamila B. Richter, the photographed fabric patterns of Markéta Othová, and the monochrome structural reliefs of Marianne Aue. Situated between painting and sculpture, Aue’s works arise from the exploration of light and shadow, opening up optical, physical, and spiritual realms of experience—making the invisible, perhaps lost, but also rediscovered, tangible.

With Prof. Dr Beate Reifenscheid, Director of the Ludwig Museum, Suzana Leu-Puggioni, MA and Marlene Reiche, M.A. The evening will be rounded off with culinary surprises from Gottschalk Catering and Riesling from the Matthias Müller winery.

Cost including aperitif and stuzzichini: €24.00.

Please register by telephone on 0261-129 2406 or in writing to kasse.ludwig-museum@stadt.koblenz.de by Sunday 24 May 2026 at the latest.
