Easter Holiday Workshop – ‘Pictures You Can Touch’
Three-day workshop: 31 March to 2 April 2026, 10 am–3 pm
Inspired by the material reliefs of ZERO artist Marianne Aue in the current special exhibition, we will experiment with various materials and techniques. This will involve building, gluing and painting. We will create our own reliefs, in which the three-dimensional, repetitively arranged materials create an interplay of light, shadow and form. We will also produce our own monotypes – that is, prints – whilst drawing regular patterns and lines. Games and discovery tours through the museum round off the programme. The workshop is led by the KunstKontakt team at the Ludwig Museum. It is aimed at children aged 7 to 12. Please bring something to drink and a snack for the break, as well as suitable clothing or a smock.
Cost: €40 (plus €10 for materials)
