On Thursday, April 23, 2026 (6:00 PM to 7:30 PM) – one week earlier than usual – Jump in Art will take place as part of the exhibition “Marianne Aue. Unknown Zero”.
The Ludwig Museum presents Marianne Aue, a long-overlooked pioneer of the European post-war avant-garde. Her monochrome structural reliefs exist between painting and sculpture, their full effect only unfolding through the interplay of light, shadow, and serial, geometric structures. New research reveals that Aue was one of the few women in the international network of the 1960s—and an artist whose work deserves rediscovery today. With Prof. Dr. Beate Reifenscheid and Suzana Leu-Puggioni, M.A., research associate.
The evening will be rounded off with culinary surprises from Gottschalk Catering and Riesling from the Matthias Müller winery. The cost, including aperitif and stuzzichini, is €24.00. Please register by phone (Ludwig Museum box office: +49 261 129 2406) or in writing (kasse.ludwig-museum@stadt.koblenz.de) by Sunday, April 19, 2026.
